MELROSE — Mary D. (McIsaac) Regan, a 71 year resident of Melrose and formerly of Newton, entered into eternal life on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 96 years of age.
Mary was born in Newton on December 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Leo F. McIsaac and Mary F. (Monks) McIsaac. She grew up in Newton where she attended Our Lady Help of Christians Parochial and High School, graduating in 1942. She later attended the Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Mary worked for Dr. Robert Masters MD in Melrose for over 25 years as a medical assistant. She was a longtime member of the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Auxillary and volunteer at the hospital gift shop. She was a member of AARP, GoGo Seniors, and the 60+ Club in Stoneham.
Mary is the beloved wife of the late Arthur S. Ridley and Joseph T. Regan. She is the devoted mother of Arthur S. Ridley Jr. of Melrose; Diane R. Wall and her husband, Robert, of Melrose and the late Marcia R. Browne and her surviving husband, James D. Browne, of Wakefield. She is the proud Grammy of Bradley M. Wall of Melrose, Patrick J. Browne of New York City, Katherine M. Browne and Kaitlin Browne of South Hampton. She is the very proud Great-Grammy of Ridley J. Browne. She is the loving sister of the late Leo F. McIsaac Jr.
