An avid Boston sports fan and talented guitarist

WAKEFIELD — Robert J. Jabor Jr., 58, of Wakefield, died on Sunday, December 18 at his residence.

He was born in Melrose on October 31, 1963 and was the son of Robert J. and Shirley A. (Perillo) Jabor.

Bobby was a lifelong Wakefield resident, and a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1981. He was an avid Boston sports fan, and a talented guitarist who had played in several local bands. He enjoyed visiting friends and his sister Leslie in California. He was a longtime employee of Analog Devices of Wilmington.

He is survived by his father Robert J. Jabor of Lowell and his mother Shirley A. Jabor of Wakefield, his sister Leslie Jabor of Oceanside, CA and brother Joseph Jabor of Wakefield. He is also survived by his nephew Joshua King of Vista, CA.

His funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9 – 11 a.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. For guestbook, please go to www.mcdonaldfs.com.
