The A’s had a big roster turnover from last summer as there were 16 new players this season on the 30-man squad.

Four of the A’s are from North Reading. Along with Dardeno, the three other players from town are Matt DiVecchia, Frank Cassarino and Mike Vittozzi. All four of those players are infielders.

This week the finals started in the league as the North Shore Phillies are facing the Kingston Night Owls in a best-of-seven series.
