NORTH READING — The North Reading Gold 11/12 year-old Jimmy Fund team won the District 13 Jimmy Fund Championship on Aug. 7 when they defeated Reading 13-1.
The team finished the four-week season with a 9-1 record. More importantly, this group helped raise a lot of money for the Jimmy Fund.
North Reading Little League had six Jimmy Fund teams this summer.
