NORTH READING – Christmas on the Common will be celebrated this Sunday, Nov. 29, immediately following the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce. The Christmas tree is scheduled to be lit at 4:30 p.m.
At that point the public is invited to journey with Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem (a.k.a. the Bandstand on the Common) for a simple telling of the Nativity story, singing of carols and other encouragement which will be lead by the town’s churches.
