vangeyte-webTOPSFIELD — Ann E. (Foley) VanGeyte, 95, passed away on March 30 in Beverly Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Gilbert VanGeyte, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Wakefield on Sept. 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Nora T. (Meade) Foley. Ann was raised and educated in Wakefield and attended Saint Joseph Church.

She resided in Topsfield, where she raised her family. Ann also was co-owner of the Sunny Lane Drycleaners in Topsfield for over 25 years.

She enjoyed traveling, cruising, dancing and crocheting.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Gil and Patricia VanGeyte of Boxford, Gary and Fran VanGeyte of Chester, N.H. and Gail and Kendall Magee of Topsfield; her sister Patricia Loveless of Wakefield; her 10 grandchildren, Julianna, Kevin, Scott, Brian, Michael, Leah, Seth, Leslie, Stephanie and Stephen; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Barbara Howe, John Foley, Theresa Rosati, Katherine Blundell, Mary Carney and Betty Foley.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Park Street, Topsfield.

Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield.
