WAKEFIELD — Anna Lenfest, 90, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Medford.
Mrs. Lenfest was born in Wakefield on July 12, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Gaetana (Barletta) Ventura. She was a graduate of Wakefield High School and had been a member of the St. Florence Church Bowling League.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Paul M. “Hokie” Lenfest. She was the loving mother of Sharon McCarthy of Wakefield and Paula Casterella and her husband Bill of Westbrook, Maine. She was the sister of the late John, Salvatore, Joseph and Rosario Ventura, Margaret Melendy and Mary Prousalis. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Brianne Ryan and her husband James and Bryan Casterella, and her great-grandson Paul Ryan.
Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield Saturday at 11. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the Service beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
