WAKEFIELD — Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF) is pleased to announce that grant applications are currently being accepted for the 2016-17 school year. This unique grant program supports innovation and promotes excellence in the Wakefield Public Schools by seeking to enhance and enrich the educational experience of every student in the district.

Grants are intended to be grade or classroom specific requests to help support the Wakefield Public Schools in areas such as Educational Enrichment, Environmental Studies and Innovation, and the expansion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning options for students.
