LYNNFIELD — The Village Home and Garden Club of Lynnfield welcomes spring with its Art in Bloom showcase on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Public Library.

The public is invited to join the club members and artists for this exuberant spring festival, bringing together the beauty of art and floral design. The Lynnfield Library has provided the backdrop for this colorful exhibit for over a decade, which pairs original artwork created by local Lynnfield Art Guild members and Lynnfield art students with interpretive floral arrangements created by Village Home and Garden Club members and professional floral designers.

The artists and floral designers will provide an informal “talk and tour” of their work during this opening night reception of Art in Bloom. Refreshments will be served.

The Art in Bloom exhibition can be viewed at the Lynnfield Library starting at the opening reception April 11 and running through Friday, April 15 during regular library hours.

Floral arrangements, gift certificates, birdhouses and more will be raffled off at the end of the evening thanks to the generosity of Gregory’s Florist, Whole Foods Market, Northeast Nursery, McCue’s Florist, BV Custom Birdhouses, Heritage Flowers and Bay State Flowers.
