Keohan-obit_webMELROSE — Ashley H. Keohan, 30, passed away suddenly at Massachusetts General Hospital Dec. 22.

Ashley was born in Melrose on June 23, 1984. She was raised in Melrose and North Andover and graduated from North Andover High School.

Miss Keohan had worked as an ER technician at Winchester Hospital and then as an esthetician for Elizabeth Grady. Ashley also worked helping children with special needs.

She loved animals, the beach, swimming, boating, NASCAR races and listening to music. In her younger years she enjoyed snowmobiling and skiing.

Ashley loved helping people doing their hair and makeup, had a smile that could light up a room and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Miss Keohan was the daughter of Gary Lucey and his wife Laurie of Georgetown. She was the daughter of Lisa Keohan-Mendenhall of North Andover and her longtime companion Robert Sharpe. She was the mother of Mason Palladino and Caiden James Bartolucci. She was the sister of Jennifer Lucey Vangelist, Cheri Lucey Horton, Makayla Lucey, Samantha Keohan-Vining, Bryce, Nicholas and Donald Mendenhall. She was the granddaughter of Robert and Priscilla Lucey, Loretta Keohan and her late husband Robert. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, Chris Vining and other friends.

Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose on Monday, Dec. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield, on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 10:30 a.m.
