Army veteran, retired contractor

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Baldassaro “Eddie” Amico, 86, died suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 12.
“Eddie” was born in Winchester to the late Anthony and Frances (Asaro) Amico on July 5, 1929. He attended Winchester Public Schools and was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
He married Yolanda DiTonno in 1950 and resided with his family in Wakefield until 1975. A retired contractor, “Eddie” was a one-of-a-kind, fun-loving man who traveled extensively and had a unique zest for life.
He is survived by three children Christine and John Griffin of Barrington, Ill., Anthony and Gerilynn Amico of Wakefield and Kathleen Williams of Boston. He was the loving Papa to Ashley and John DiCiurcio, Laura Griffin, Jaclyn Griffin, all of Illinois, and Alexandra Amico of Wakefield. He was also the brother of Paul Amico, Lorraine Clarke and the late Angelo Amico. Eddie is also survived by his special and very dear friend Donna Goodman.
Private services will be held in Boston and West Palm Beach, Fla.
