ASHLAND — Barbara A. (Sugrue) Boudreau, 89, of Ashland and formerly of Lexington and Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was the daughter of the late James and Eva (Hurd) Sugrue and the beloved wife of the late Robert (Jake) Boudreau, to whom she was married for 49 years. Barbara was the devoted mother of Robert Boudreau Jr. and his wife Karen of Lexington, Brian Boudreau and his wife Maureen of California, Susan Boudreau of Mendon, Michael Boudreau of Wakefield, Scott Boudreau of Portland, Maine, Kim Boudreau-Sullivan and her husband Derek of Ashland, and the late infant John. She was the loving grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 13. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Barbara is survived by her siblings Joan Sullivan of West Dennis, Edward Sugrue and his wife Beverly of Arlington, Walter Sugrue of Somerville, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings James Sugrue, Jr. , Eleanore Hennessy and her husband Richard, Richard (Mike) Sugrue and his wife Pauline and grandsons Andrew and Michael Boudreau.

Burial services will be private and a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
