STONEHAM — Barbara A. (Cerutti) Hassard, 81, a longtime resident of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2018. Barbara was born in Framingham on December 4, 1936.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years George J. Hassard, Jr.; children George J. Hassard III and his wife Cathy, Gregory J. Hassard and his wife Donna, Elizabeth Centers and her husband Raymond, Geoffrey J. Hassard and his wife Irene, Michelle Campbell and her husband Andrew, Sharon Bryan and her husband Mark, Susan Mitchell and Margaret Bamforth and her husband Doug. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters Sylvia Fuller, Rita Copithorne, Carla Burke and her brothers Peter Cerutti and John Cerutti, Jr. along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Barbara was the organist for St. Patrick’s Parish in Stoneham for 35 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her summers in Wells, Maine. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and playing the video game “Gorillas” on the computer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, from 4-8 p.m. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home located at 4 Common Street, Stoneham. Bereavement lunch and prayer service will be held Wednesday, 1-5 p.m. at the Crystal Community Club, 77 Preston St. Wakefield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
