WAKEFIELD — Barbara (Putzel) Delcore of Wakefield died on Wednesday, January 18.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Lorraine Putzel.
Barbara received a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and a bachelor of science degree from Simmons College and was formerly a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
She was the loving wife of Joseph Delcore of Wakefield; devoted and beloved mother of Deborah McGovern of Wakefield, Christine Delcore and her husband Jeffrey Lee of Lowell, David Delcore and his wife Anne of Haverhill, Stephen Delcore and his wife Angella of No. Andover and the late Daniel Delcore; loving and devoted grandmother of Rachel McGovern, Vivian Delcore, Rosemarie, Ryan and Christopher Lee, Connor and Owen Delcore, and Marirose Watterson. Beloved sister of Sterling, Steven, James and Kieth Putzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her faithful four-legged companion, Trixie.
Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m.
Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
