Audetobit-webYORK, Maine — Adam T. Audet, 22, formerly of Wakefield, MA passed away on Friday, January 13.

He was born April 23, 1994 in Melrose, a son of Edmond J. and Kim H. (Furness) Audet III. He attended the Wakefield school system and had graduated from York High School in Maine in 2013.

Adam loved fishing with his dad and friends, and was an avid hockey player, but most of all Adam loved spending time with his family.

While working hard to overcome his addiction he helped many people along the way. He worked as an out reach counselor at Serenity Point, Michigan.

Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Edmond J. Audet IV of York, ME; two sisters, Janelle H. Grant of Wakefield and Kali B. Audet of York, ME; his maternal grandmother Nancy Doyle of Wakefield; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved nieces, Kayla and Quinn and nephew Ian Edmond.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22 in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, ME. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, in St. Christopher Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, ME. (Please go directly to church). Burial will be in the First Parish Cemetery.
