WAKEFIELD — Barbara L. Rosewell, 99, of Wakefield died Monday, June 27, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Dorchester on Oct. 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Emily G. (Martin) Patterson.
Barbara was raised in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1934. She had been a longtime Wakefield resident and was a devoted housewife and mother.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Rosewell and the loving mother of the late David Rosewell. She was the sister of William L. Patterson of Williamstown and the late Helen Vasalle. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Oct. 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
