WAKEFIELD — Beatrice E. Epstein, 92, of Wakefield died Monday, April 17, at her home in Wakefield.
Beatrice was born in Somerville on June 13, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Pearl M. (Zinck) Wombolt. She was the sister of the late Margaret Rodgers and her husband Charles.
Beatrice was raised in Somerville and was a former resident of Cambridge.
She was a graduate of Somerville High School and Fisher Junior College.
She was a Wakefield resident for the past 17 years and retired as an executive secretary for Harvard University.
Beatrice was the dear friend of David Auger and his wife Jeannie of Wakefield and their children Jennifer Fortin and Jessica Auger, and their grandchildren Cameron and Charlee Rae.
Her funeral service will be held in the First Baptist Church, 8 Lafayette St., Wakefield on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m.
Services are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
