WAKEFIELD — The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield, Inc. is pleased to announce the establishment of the Bisacre Family Scholarship Fund. This fund was established in loving memory of Ethel Lillian Bisacre.
Ethel was born on July 28, 1937 and was a life-long resident of Wakefield until her death on March 19, 2015. She was a loving wife of 60 years, mother of four and grandmother of eight. Her family established this fund to return the love and support for the town of Wakefield she showed throughout her life, from working for the town counsel to volunteering at the polls on election day. Her husband, Bob Bisacre, town educator for over 30 years, hopes that this scholarship can continue to support the education of students who attended Wakefield High School.
The Bisacre Family Scholarship Fund is an accumulating fund of The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield. Once it reaches permanency, this scholarship will be awarded in the family’s name through the earnings of the Fund. Tax deductible donations to the Bisacre Family Scholarship Fund can be made to TSF of Wakefield, Inc., P.O. Box 321, Wakefield MA 01880. The name of the fund should be written on the check.
