MELROSE — Carrie Ann Doyle, 44, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Sept. 3.

Carrie Ann was born in Malden on Nov. 15, 1970. She was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1988 and lived most of her life in Melrose before moving to Stoneham several years ago. She worked as a medical coordinator at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for 10 years and then for the Board of Medicine in Boston and Wakefield for eight years. Carrie Ann also was a staff member at the Boston Garden for the past year.

Miss Doyle was very proud of her Irish Heritage, loved irish music, animals and was very generous and supportive to the Pine Street Inn and the MSPCA. She was a very funny person, had a great personality and was a wonderful cook. Carrie Ann also loved spending time on Saquish Beach in Plymouth.

She was the beloved mother of Megan T. Miraglia and her husband Anthony and Erinann Johnson, all of Stoneham. She was the cherished daughter of Maureen H. Slater of Stoneham and William Doyle of Arizona. She was the loving sister of Christopher Doyle, Maureen Doyle and Merry Doyle, all of Melrose. She was the proud grandmother of Aidan Johnson. She is also survived by her beloved dog Dagen and many close loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, Sept. 8. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will take place at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
