LYNNFIELD — The registration deadline for Lynnfield Youth Field Hockey is Sunday, July 21.

The program is for participants grades K-8 and is set to kick off later this summer.  Registration closes on Sunday, July 21.

Lynnfield wins 11-year-old district championship

SALEM — The Lynnfield 10/11-year-old baseball team beat Swampscott 4-0 on July 2 to win the District 16 championship.

Swampscott beat Lynnfield 2-0 the night before, forcing a winner-take-all game on Salem’s O’Grady Field.

Senior Babe Ruth beats Malden to get back to .500

LYNNFIELD — On Sunday afternoon, the Lynnfield Senior Babe Ruth baseball team beat the visiting Malden Marlins 3-1 at Lynnfield High School. With that win, the team improved to 2-2 overall.

Christian Maney was the story of this one as the pitcher went to 1-0 going six innings.
