Pioneer softball conquers Vikings to even record at 2-2

LYNNFIELD — On April 17 during school vacation week, the Lynnfield High softball team won at Rockport, 6-2. With that win, the Pioneers improved to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the Cape Ann League.

BILLERICA — On April 18, the Lynnfield High girls’ lacrosse team beat host Shawsheen Tech 13-3 in Billerica. With that non-league victory, the Pioneers improved to 3-2 overall as they completed the season sweep over the non-league Rams. Lynnfield won the first meeting 10-1 at home back on

Boys’ open up new track with first 2-0 start in 10 years

LYNNFIELD — The LHS boys’ track and field team opened up their 2019 season in spectacular fashion scoring double wins on the brand new track at the Middle School on April 10. The Pioneers beat Hamilton-Wenham 109-35 and followed that up with a huge 77-69 win over Pentucket.

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield High girls’ lacrosse team evened its record at 2-2 on April 12 as they nipped host Triton, 12-11 up in Byfield. They also went to 1-2 in the Cape Ann League.

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield High girls’ tennis team is returning to the court next week, and is looking to make some noise in the Cape Ann League.
