Pioneer girls’ tennis qualifies for tourney for 36th year

LYNNFIELD — The girls’ tennis team is heading back to the Division 3 North Sectional Tournament for the 36th straight year, and is riding a nine-match winning streak.

The Pioneers (10-1) began last week defeating Masco 5-0 on May 9.

LYNNFIELD — The girls’ tennis team went undefeated last week, improving the Pioneers’ overall record this season to 7-1.

LYNNFIELD — Last Friday morning, during school vacation week, the Lynnfield High softball team lost to guest Pentucket, 4-2. This game was supposed to have been played at Pentucket but their field was unplayable so they switched dates and will visit the Sachems later on
