Reilly and the LHS boys’ soccer team won the program’s first state championship on Saturday at Scituate High. Reilly’s goal with 17:34 left in the game was the winner as the Pioneers beat Monomoy 1-0. It was the 7th goal of the state tournament for Reilly who collected

Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 2

LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Recreation’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 on the Town Common, beginning at 3 p.m.

Santa Claus will arrive at 3 p.m. and will be available for free photos. Lynnfield Recreation will be handing out hot chocolate and cookies again.

FOR THE 12th year, the Little School community donated 68 fresh pies to the North Reading Food Pantry for inclusion in its Thanksgiving food baskets. Pies in this year’s fundraiser were provided by Spinelli’s and the sale was run by the Little School PTO. The entire community pitched in to help the Food Pantry volunteers

THE MELROSE HIGH SCHOOL Marching Band and Color Guard, which has members from both MVMMS and MHS, just finished their competition season as a part of the New England Scholastic Band Association.
