Welcoming Atlantis Chiropractic back home

THE WAKEFIELD LYNNFIELD Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting at the grand re-opening of Atlantis Chiropractic Wellness Centers at 1 Teal Rd. in Wakefield. A great display of holiday generosity

WAKEFIELD CO-OPERATIVE BANK recently held its annual holiday toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots at its 342 Main St., Wakefield, and 596 Main St., Lynnfield offices. The bank ended up collecting approximately 300 toys between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve with the help of staff, local residents and businesses and Summer Street Elementary School in Lynnfield. U.S. Marine Corps Reserve ‘Toys for Tots’ program was established in 1995 as a means of providing gifts to less fortunate youngsters during the holiday season every year. Pictured here are employees at the bank’s 342 Main St. office participating in a recent Jeans Day, where staff was invited to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to purchase toys for the drive. Star Wars awakens the L Street Brownies

ON NEW YEAR'S DAY, mostly Wakefield fathers who normally battle superheroes and other costumed dippers, came in contact with Han Solo and Chewbacca from the new Star Wars movie who joined them in a cold dip into the icy Atlantic Ocean in south Boston. It had been in the 20s the night before and was around 30 when the dip took place.  After the picture was taken it was time to say goodbye to newly met friends who then left to return to a galaxy far far away. In the bottom photo from the left are Erik Kondo and James Macdonald.
