MELROSE — Come cheer on the Melrose Band on Saturday, October 5 at our biggest home NESBA Competition Show on the Fred Green Field. NESBA is the New England Scholastic Band Association.
Twenty-two marching bands will be performing including the UMass Lowell Band and the Boston University Band. This is the largest competition Melrose has ever hosted.
Your Melrose Raiders Marching Band will perform “Reach for the Stars” at 6:30 p.m. UMass Lowell perform their exhibition show at 8:50 p.m. and then BU concludes the show at 9:05 p.m.
The competition begins at 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students/seniors. Lots of great food will be available too.
The public is warmly invited for any or the entire event. It’s great for families, especially for those with budding musicians. Go Red!
