MELROSE — On Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 8:30 a.m., the City of Melrose will hold a remembrance ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

The event will take place at Memorial Hall, 590 Main St. in Melrose. This will be an opportunity for the Melrose community to gather to reflect on the lives lost that day, the first responders who put themselves in harm’s way, and the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and active duty service members over the past 20 years.

This solemn ceremony will be conducted by members of the Melrose Interfaith Clergy Association, and is open to all. Please note, masks are required in Memorial Hall.
