LYNNFIELD — The 56th Lynnfield High School commencement for the 151 members of the Class of 2015 will be held on Friday, June 5.

The ceremony will be held at Lynnfield High School’s Pioneer Stadium for the first time since the LHS fields complex was completed. In the event of inclement weather, graduation will be held indoors at the high school gym.

Graduation was held outside last year. After a rainy start to the week, the Class of 2015 remains optimistic sunny skies will greet them when they bid farewell to their high school careers.

Traditional music will be performed by the High School Concert Band, under the director of LHS Band Director Tom Westmoreland. The Chamber Singers will perform the “National Anthem” under the direction of Choral Director Doug Hodgkins.

Student Council co-Presidents Grace Leman and Emily Scollard will give the Welcome Address and opening remarks will be given by High School Principal Bob Cleary. The Valedictory Address will be given by Shreyas Kudrimoti. Senior Class President Isabella DiPietro and Superintendent of Schools Jane Tremblay will provide additional remarks.

The senior class gift will be presented by DiPietro and accepted by Class of 2016 President Renee DelNegro. The LHS Concert Band, the Senior Chorus and Chamber Singers will perform a cover of “Come Sail Away” by Styx.

After the musical performance concludes, School Committee Chairwoman Susie Cleary will present the graduates their diplomas. Principal Cleary will provide closing remarks at the end of the ceremony.
