STONEHAM — Seeking to galvanize regional public support as the Stone Zoo pursues renewal of its accreditation, Zoo New England, the non-profit that operates the Stone Zoo, and local state legislators are holding a public community meeting to inform the public about the status of the accreditation process and future plans for the zoo, seek input from the public and answer any questions members of the public may have.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held Monday, July 27, at 7 p.m. at the Stone Zoo, 149 Pond St., Stoneham.

Those planning to attend are John Linehan, Zoo New England President and CEO; Jason Lewis, State Senator, Fifth Middlesex district; Michael Day, State Representative, 31st Middlesex district; Paul Donato, State Representative, 35th Middlesex district and Paul Brodeur, State Representative, 32nd Middlesex district.
