ObitPettis-webSANFORD, Maine — Connie B. (Gosselin) Pettis, 71, of Sanford, Maine, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 6.

She was born in Sanford on July 28, 1943 a daughter of the late Marcel and Rose Alma Gosselin. She attended and graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1961.

Connie was a member and first vice president of the Ladies Auxillary-AMVETS in Sanford.

She is predeceased by her husband Henry C. Krol Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Grant of Woburn and her fiancé Bruce Langlois who Connie considered as her own; her son Michael Krol of Andover and his longtime girlfriend Sarah Casey who Connie also considered as her own; grandchildren Jillian Capobianco and Patrick Capobianco. She is also survived by her fiancé, James Marcoux, and her sisters, Lucille McDonald, Jeanne Therrien and Irene Clough all of Sanford.

Visiting hours for Connie will be held on Friday, May 8, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford, Maine.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sanford AMVETS. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
