EVERETT — Daniel K. Linnane of Everett, entered into rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. He was 86 years of age.
Born in Cambridge, Daniel lived in Everett for many, many years. He was retired from the New England Bolt Company where he worked as a supervisor. Beloved husband of Barbara A. (Amigo) for over 57 years. He was the dear and devoted father of Daniel K. Jr. and his wife, Sherrill of Peabody and Brian and his wife, Carole of North Reading. He was the brother of Elizabeth Linehan of Cambridge and the late Robert, Thomas, James, Patsy and Helen Linnane, and Mary Halloran. He was the loving grandfather of Danny, Steven and Thomas, Lauren, Keith and Brenna Linnane.
Visiting hours were held in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett, on Sunday, April 12. His funeral was from the funeral home on Monday, April 13, followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105 would be sincerely appreciated. Late US Air Force Veteran.
