MELROSE — Diane L. (Stack) Stevens, 61, of Melrose, died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on July 13.
Diane was born in Somerville, was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Somerville and went on to Suffolk University. She resided in Melrose since 1978 and worked as a retail manager for over 30 years. Diane enjoyed traveling to Disney World, going on Disney cruises and spending time at Disney’s private island, Castaway Key. She loved summertime and enjoyed going to the beach.
Diane was the loving mother of Jaime N. Stevens and Jason D. Stevens of Melrose. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Frances (Crowell) Stack. She was the former wife of Robert D. Stevens of Melrose. She was the caring sister of Margaret Bitgood of Leominster.
Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose on Sunday, July 17. A funeral service was held at the Gately Funeral Home on Monday, July 18. Burial took place in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
