Did you get your career start in the trades, a technical field, or health and human services by attending a vocational or technical high school? We’d like to hear from you! Drop us a brief letter to the editor about the value and/or the drawbacks to your educational experience for publication in next week’s Transcript, particularly if you attended Northeast Metro Tech in Wakefield. The voters and readers of this newspaper need to hear from you.

A Special Election has been called for Tuesday, Jan. 25 in all 12 communities served by this school to determine whether a new $317M facility should be built. It has been approved to receive a grant of $140.9M from the state, reducing the overall cost to be divided between the 12 sending communities to $176M over 30 years.
