Falite,-Dorothy_PIC-webWAKEFIELD — Dorothy M. Falite, 85, of Wakefield died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday Sept. 12, in the home she had lived in for over 60 years.

Born in Everett, on Sept. 15, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Dunn) Jamieson.

Dorothy was raise in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School class of 1948. As a young woman she worked at Schraffts Candy Factory. She was a longtime member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenwood.

Dorothy devoted her life to her husband, her children, and her entire family. “They were her love and joy”.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Charles S. Falite for 56 years who passed away in May 2008. She was the loving mother of Debra Chanley and husband David, Dianna Arsenault and husband Daniel, and Denise Nohelty all of Wakefield, and Charles Falite and wife Lee of Melrose. Sister of Marcia Killion and husband James of Florida, and the late Joseph “Sonny” Jamieson, and her late sister and best friend Jean Falite. Sister-in-law of Salvatore Falite of Wakefield. Loving Grandmother of Nicole Barr and husband Corey, Crystal Chanley, Gabrielle Figueiredo and husband Matthew, Daniel Arsenault, Nick Arsenault, Madison Morris and husband Derek, Taylor Nohelty, Rob Nohelty, Thomas Falite, and Ashley Falite. Great grandmother of Charlie, Stella, and Evelyn Barr and Harrison Morris. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 o’clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
