Survivors include local residents

MEDFORD — Edward D. Barker of Medford and Weymouth died on Monday, June 29 at the Melrose–Wakefield Hospital. Born in Weymouth, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Augusta (Dufau) Barker.
Edward was the father of Paul Barker and his wife Michelle of North Reading, Nicole Fabiano and her husband Peter of Wakefield and the late Stephen Barker. He was the grandfather of Sabella, Gabrielle Stefano and Sophia, and the brother of Mary Goodell, Ann Finn, Richard Barker, and the late Louis Barker, Rose Carlier and Robert Barker. Edward is also survived by his former wife Marie Pace Barker.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Tuesday, July 7, at noon. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend and to visit with the family from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Edward’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown MA 02472.
