STONEHAM — Eleanor M. Reilly, 93, of Stoneham passed away on Jan. 5 at the Masconomet Health Care Center in Topsfield.

She was born in Boston on Dec. 1, 1922, and was the daughter of the late James F. and Eleanor (Meaney) Irons.

Eleanor was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1940. She was a Stoneham resident for the past 14 years and she enjoyed old movies, music, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert V. Reilly. She was the loving mother of Robert J. Reilly and his wife Lesley of Middleboro, formerly of Florida; John E. Reilly and the late Beverly Reilly of Wakefield; Christine M. Carco and her husband John, Susan Falasca and her husband Frank, all of Peabody, and Frederick E. Reilly and his wife Donna of Malden. She was the sister of Fred Irons of New Hampshire, and the late James Irons, Patricia Sharkey, Margaret Mahoney and Barbara Garrity. Eleanor is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor’s funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Interment will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
