WMHS graduate was a tile setter
WAKEFIELD — Eric J. Johnston, 28, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died on Sunday, Feb. 22.
Born in Malden on June 15, 1986, he was the son of Kevin J. and Ruth A. (Marks) Johnston.
Eric was a graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Class of 2005. He was a self-employed tile setter.
In addition to his parents, Eric is also survived by his beloved wife Jillian (D’Agostino) Johnston; his sister Kimberly A. Minor and her husband Chris of Boston; his grandparents, Joseph and Mildred Johnston of Beverly; his uncle Guy Marks of Wakefield; his niece Victoria Minor and his nephew Connor Minor. He was predeceased by his grandparents Sumner and Amelia Marks.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be private.
