WAKEFIELD — Gail P. Costello, 69, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Lynn on May 11, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Fannie (Zagarella) Cronin.
Mrs. Costello was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1964. She had worked as an employment agent and also at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in the Medical Records Department.
Mrs. Costello is survived by her husband John H. Costello; her son Paul A. Costello and his wife Kelly of Tewksbury; her daughter Kathleen M. Costello of Wakefield; her two grandsons Ethan and Julian Costello; her brother Edward Cronin of Wilmington, and her two nieces Britt and Joy
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held from the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
