LYNNFIELD — The girls’ basketball team came up short in both of the Pioneers’ games last week, which brought Lynnfield’s overall record this season to 0-11.

The Pioneers began last week falling 58-31 to Georgetown on Jan. 26.

Senior captain Abbie Weaver led the Pioneers with a team-high 13 points. Sophomore Liz Shaievitz finished with 11 points. Sophomore Marina McMahon had three points. Senior captain Marie Norwood, junior Shannon Furey, sophomore MacKenzie O’Neil and sophomore Juliana Passatempo scored one point apiece.

Falls to Triton

The Pioneers concluded last week falling 43-28 to Triton Jan. 29.

Weaver led the Pioneers with eight points. Norwood had seven points. McMahon finished with seven points. Shaievitz finished with six points.

Upcoming games

The Pioneers hosted Pentucket on Tuesday, Feb. 2, taking place after deadline. Lynnfield travels to Masconomet on Friday, Feb. 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Pioneers travel to Newburyport on Tuesday, Feb. 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
