Carraiobit-webWOBURN — Gloria M. Carrai, 91, died Saturday, May 7, at the Woburn Nursing Center.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., on Nov. 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Noella A. (Cartier) LeClair.

Mrs. Carrai was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music and was also a graduate of the Fay School of Boston. She was a teacher of voice and piano at the North Shore Community Music School and the South Shore Conservatory in Hingham. She also sang in the Quincy Choral Society and was a member of Saint Joseph Church of Wakefield and the Corpus Christi Parish in Sandwich.

Mrs. Carrai was a summer resident of Sandwich and a winter resident of Sun City Center, Fla.

She was the beloved wife of the late Henry E. Carrai. She was the loving mother of Susan Carrai of Woburn and Phoebe Carrai of Cambridge. She was the sister of the late Roger LeClair. She is also survived by her grandson Nathan Rohr.

Her funeral will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Wednesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. Funeral arrangements are in the care of McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
