WAKEFIELD — While the Warrior wrestling team entered Saturday’s dual meet competition with 14 victories, it hadn’t earned a win against a Middlesex League Freedom division squad.
That all changed on Saturday morning at the Charbonneau Field House as Wakefield earned a 46-21 triumph over Wilmington in a tri-meet with Saugus. The Warriors also added another non-league win with a 42-30 victory over the Sachems.
Wakefield is now 16-4-0 overall on the season and 1-1-0 in the M.L. Freedom division.
