NORTH READING – Mount Carmel Chapter No. 230, Order of the Eastern Star, will be serving a Ham & Bean Supper with all the trimmings on Saturday, April 4 with continuous servings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the North Reading Masonic Hall, 283 Park St.
Their well known regular menu of four delicious varieties of beans, piping hot homemade baked macaroni and cheese, homemade cole slaw and brown breads and a large variety of pies will be served, plus this month’s special soup of clam chowder. There is a choice of beverages which consist of coffee, tea, water, diet and regular soda for a small donation of $7 for ages 9 and up and $4 for 8 and under.
The public is invited to these suppers, which are held the first Saturday of each month except in July and August.
