WAKEFIELD — Harriet J. Woodworth, 83, of Wakefield died Tuesday, Oct. 27 in Danvers.
She was born in Cambridge on Aug. 17, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Carlet L. and Myrtle R. (Littlejohn) Garland.
Mrs. Woodworth was raised in Cambridge and had been an active member of the Grace Methodist Church of Cambridge while residing there.
She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 40 years and had worked for the Polaroid Corporation and later retired from the former Spir-it, Inc. of Wakefield.
Mrs. Woodworth was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Woodworth. She was the devoted mother of Kim Woodworth and her husband Tony McGreavey of Norton and the late Linda Woodworth. She was the sister of Linda Hurley of Winthrop, Gordon Garland of New Hampshire, Louise Jude of Missouri and the late Carl and Ralph Garland and Phyllis Beckman.
Her funeral will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at noon. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
