WAKEFIELD — The J.J. Round Playground Committee needs about 20 volunteers to help assemble a new J.J. Round Playground structure on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..

The structure is impressive and will be a big improvement over what is currently there for the area’s children and grandchildren to play on.

The structure is being built with the support of volunteers, donations and town funding and support. Some of the donations come from the developers of the condominiums at the old Franklin School on Nahant Street.

Anyone is welcome to lend a hand. Supervision and guidance will be provided by a manufacturing company representative. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.

It is important that committee members know who will be attending. Please contact Frank at frank@nardoneinc.com or Kim at Khackett1171@grmail.com before 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, so they can provide more detailed information.
