NORTH READING — James R. Atkins, 84, of North Reading, died Monday, October 12, at his home. Calling hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m. His funeral will be held at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, North Reading on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Complete obituary will follow next Thursday.
