WAKEFIELD — James G. “Jimi” Mamos, 50, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, returned to God on Monday June 1, 2020.

Born in Lynn, December 4, 1969 he was the son of Linda Murray. He was the first grandchild of, and is preceded in death by, his adoring grandparents, Franklin and Patricia Fotino.

Jimi was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1987. He has had a lengthy career in the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Jimi was a skilled finish carpenter and mason, a true craftsman, also a gifted chef.

Jimi is survived by the light of his life, his beloved daughter Gabriella Mamos of Wakefield, his mother Linda Murray of Plymouth and many cousins. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles in relation but in relationship, his siblings, Wallace Fotino, Gary Goodwin, Robert Fotino, Stephen Fotino (deceased), Doreen Sheppard, Tina Cresta and Heidi Rossicone.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
