Wakefield native had many interests

MANCHESTER, N.H. — James William “Billy” “MA” Deveau of New Hampshire, formerly of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at his home on Aug. 1 with his loving family and friends by his side.
Born in Wakefield, Dec. 14, 1947, he was the son of the late James W. “Bill” Deveau and Eleanor Cullen Gerrior Deveau.
He is survived by his two children Gwen and James, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his sisters Eleanor Malonson of Wakefield, Shirley Branco of Andover and Leona Carr of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his loving wife Donna McCauley Deveau, his brothers Francis and Wallace Gerrior, his sister Alice Fletcher, and his beloved dog Phoenix.
Billy loved riding his motorcycle and hanging with his buddies as well as working on cars.
Billy also attended Wakefield Public Schools.
He cherished that he had such a loving family and so many loving friends, he will be missed by many.
There will be a private memorial at a later date.
