MELROSE — Janet E. (Enderlein) Knight, 61, of Melrose, died at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston on June 26.
Janet was born in Waco, Texas, raised in Mt. Laurel, N.J., was a graduate of Holy Cross High School in New Jersey and attended Ohio Dominican University.
She worked as an outreach councilor for Elliott Community Health in Danvers and enjoyed traveling to DisneyWorld and Universal Studios in Florida, the Bahamas and Aruba.
Janet loved to spend her time and was spectacular “Grammy Jammy” to her grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of Daniel C. Knight. She was the devoted daughter of the late John and Jannette (Farrell) Enderlein. She was the granddaughter of the late Stella Farrell. She was the loving mother of Robert J. Michael and his wife Emily Frommeyer of Beverly, Timothy B. Michael and his wife Mandee of Danvers, Ryan K. Michael and her fiancé Jared Wilson of Beverly. She was the cherished grandmother of Kyah, Jazmine, Riley and Quinn. She was the caring sister of Michael Enderlein and the late Jackie and Jimmy Enderlein. She was the step-sister of Pamela Nadeau and Kristen Enderlein Pierson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose, on Thursday, July 2, from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.
