WAKEFIELD — Janet L. Flanagan, 85 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died at Brudnick Center of Peabody on August 21, 2020.
Janet was born in Lowell on January 16, 1935 and was the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Lewis) Miller.
She was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1953 and Fisher Junior College class of 1955. Nothing gave her more joy than being with her family whether it was attending their sporting events, dance recitals, visiting Santa’s Village or spending time at the house at Lake Winnipesaukee.
Janet was the wife of the late Donald B. Flanagan Sr., she was the loving mother of Donald B. Flanagan Jr. of North Reading, Deborah Kelleher of Lakevielle, Rick Flanagan of Kensington, N.H. and Peter Flanagan of Easton. She was the grandmother of 11 and the great-grandmother of six. She was the sister of the late William Miller.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. A graveside service will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Because of COVID-19 we respectfully request that you pay your respects and exit the building.
