Former resident of town
WILMINGTON — Jennie (Guerreri) Siracusa, age 91, of Wilmington, formerly a long-time resident of Clearwater, Fla. and North Reading, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends, on April 1, 2015, at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester.
Jennie was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Frank Siracusa, devoted mother of Annette Pellegrini and her husband Peter of Wilmington and the late Frank Siracusa; loving “Grannie” of Jodi and Richard Bobrowski of South Hadley and Peter L. and Diane Pellegrini of Dracut; “Great Nana” of Jenna and Leah Bobrowski and Alanna Pellegrini. She was the cherished daughter of the late Phillipo and Assunta (Salamone) Guerreri and the dear sister of the late Josie Catrone, Caroline Tropea, Lucy Fariole and Anna Letterie. Jennie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Wednesday, April 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading. Burial will be held in Clearwater, Fla. at a later date.
