SPRINGHILL, Fla. — John Allan Bruce, 77, of Springhill, Fla., formerly of Wakefield and Swampscott, passed away at his home on Feb. 20.
John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Janice (Melanson) and his four children Karen Soete and her husband Rick of Texas, Paul Bruce and his partner Kathleen Wallace of Andover, Scott Bruce and his fiancée Aisha Perez of Virginia and Dawn Deveau and her husband David of Tewksbury.
He was born in Lynn on May 19, 1938 and was the son of the late Paul Wallace and Marguerite Mary (Scollin). He is predeceased by his brother Donald Bruce and is survived by his eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was the former president of Evergreen Village in Timber Pines. He loved to play golf and tennis, taking beach vacations, dancing with his wife and spending time with his children.
